Sidmouth Regatta & Airshow
Friday 28 - Monday 31st August 2026
Sidmouth Regatta Weekend is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the town's calendar. This bank holiday weekend brings together sailing, community fun, and spectacular aerial displays along Devon's stunning Jurassic Coast.
The Airshow kicks things off on the afternoon of Friday 28 August. Sidmouth Town Council has confirmed that the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, will headline the show, and will be joined for the first time at Sidmouth by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Douglas C-47 Dakota - a historic transport aircraft that conducted paradropping operations on the eve of D-Day.
The weekend also features the return of the Raft Race, organised by the Rotary Club of Sidmouth with sponsorship from South West Water, the return of the Three Legged Race, a Grand Fireworks Display on Saturday evening, and a food court and bar at The Ham.
An Airshow Grand Prize Draw adds to the excitement, with tickets available from Sidmouth Information Centre from 18 August.
